Principal Cybersecurity Engineer
Tasks
- Conduct threat modeling and security risk assessments for mission critical systems
- Define security requirements for RF communications telemetry and command systems
- Design secure boot chains trusted execution environments and hardware root of trust
- Develop security controls for satellite bus payloads and ground segment
- Ensure compliance with DFARS CMMC ITAR and aerospace security standards
- Implement cryptographic key management for space and ground systems
- Integrate security into DevSecOps pipelines and hardware development
- Lead cross functional security reviews across hardware firmware and software
- Lead security architecture for integrated hardware software systems
- Mentor engineers on systems security best practices
- Perform hardware security assessments supply chain risk analysis and component security
- Secure embedded systems firmware and hardware interfaces
- Secure network infrastructure for air gapped and classified environments
- Support security accreditation and certification activities
