Tasks
- Conduct SIEM alert review and deep root cause analysis
- Design and maintain custom WAF rules rate controls and bot mitigation
- Develop security standards reference architectures policies and procedures
- Drive automation using Akamai APIs CI CD integrations and IaC
- Lead Akamai WAF architecture deployment lifecycle management and tuning
- Own WAF policy design staging validation production rollout and optimization
- Partner to improve zero trust aligned perimeter and edge security
- Perform WAF observability metrics log analysis and SIEM integration
- Provide mentorship for WAF operations and incident response
- Securely onboard applications into Akamai traffic profiling and baseline creation
- Serve as Akamai WAF subject matter expert for edge security
