- Conduct SCI foreign travel briefings and security violation investigations
- Conduct program assistance visits and security reviews
- Coordinate compliance activities across units
- Develop and conduct security education and training
- Enforce operational and mission assurance aspects
- Manage intelligence reference files
- Oversee SCI program compliance
- Provide guidance on collateral and SCI security matters
- Provide guidance on handling transporting marking and protecting SCI
- Provide technical recommendations for information security program
- Research interpret and apply security directives and policies
- Supervise and manage SCI program
- Support SCIF pre construction concept approval and accreditation
- Support physical and information security for units
- Train TSCOs program managers and security specialists
