Tasks
- Administer and optimize Palo Alto firewalls and Panorama
- Administer and optimize web application firewalls
- Analyze and implement ACLs and logical security controls
- Coordinate with matrixed IT partners
- Create review and maintain firewall policies and rules
- Design implement and optimize enterprise firewall environment
- Evaluate and implement Network Detection and Response solutions
- Implement and maintain network security controls VPN IDS IPS access controls
- Lead firewall strategy decisions segmentation and performance tuning
- Manage GlobalProtect policies and secure remote access
- Monitor and resolve network performance issues
- Participate in SASE and cloud security architecture reviews
- Participate in incident response change management and after hours maintenance
- Provide technical guidance training and mentorship on network security best practices
- Support next gen firewalls in Azure
- Support transition and ownership of Cisco ISE capabilities
- Troubleshoot complex networking and security issues
