Tasks
- Analyze network performance data to identify bottlenecks
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Communicate technical information to technical and non-technical audiences
- Configure deploy and manage routers switches firewalls load balancers and wireless controllers
- Create and maintain network documentation and diagrams
- Design network solutions for LAN WAN data center and cloud
- Develop network architectures for current and future needs
- Diagnose and resolve complex network issues using troubleshooting and monitoring tools
- Enforce network security with firewalls intrusion detection prevention access controls and VPNs
- Implement maintain network services and protocols
- Implement quality of service QoS
- Manage network projects including upgrades migrations and expansions
- Monitor network traffic for threats and vulnerabilities
- Optimize network performance with traffic analysis and configuration changes
