Staff Attorney, Digital Forensics Unit
Tasks
- Act as spokesperson for organization expertise areas
- Advocate for or against relevant digital privacy and surveillance policies
- Assist defense attorneys in New York City cases
- Create digital forensics and electronic surveillance guides and templates
- Develop litigation strategies for facial recognition ShotSpotter automatic license plate readers and device tracking
- Provide training on digital forensics and electronic surveillance
- Represent clients in criminal proceedings involving digital forensic evidence
- Stay informed on digital forensics and electronic surveillance technology changes
- Support other attorneys handling digital forensic and electronic surveillance cases
- Write motions subpoenas and litigation materials
