Tasks
- Apply patch management PSU and patchsets
- Automate IT asset processes
- Collaborate with SREs for root cause analysis and remediation
- Communicate technical issues to non technical audience
- Develop manage harmonize phase out Oracle products and services
- Ensure operational performance
- Implement backup and recovery using RMAN and datapump
- Implement replication using GoldenGate and Data Guard and Always On
- Improve processes and collaboration
- Install, configure, and upgrade database software
- Maintain and optimize databases and queries
- Manage backlog
- Manage storage with ASM and diskgroup
- Maximize product value through knowledge sharing
- Monitor infrastructure and predictive alerting
- Monitor with Prometheus and Grafana
- Perform capacity planning
- Perform database tuning and performance optimization
- Plan and manage application lifecycle in production
- Resolve incidents and operate systems
- Tune database and operating system performance
