Tasks
- Assist senior DBAs with SQL Server patching and upgrade activities
- Assist with basic troubleshooting for common SQL Server issues
- Execute SQL Server backup and restore tasks under guidance
- Follow SOPs security policies and compliance guidelines
- Handle incidents and service requests using ticketing tools
- Maintain database documentation and update runbooks
- Monitor SQL Server instances for availability and health checks
- Perform basic SQL Server health checks
- Perform initial issue analysis and escalate complex issues
- Respond to SQL Server alerts
- Support SQL Server database administration team with operational activities
- Support routine maintenance tasks
- Support user access requests
