Platform System Specialist (GitHub Admin)
Tasks
- Administer GitHub Enterprise environments
- Automate work item synchronization and deployment traceability
- Configure governance standards and branch protection rules
- Create GitHub Insights and leadership reports
- Develop dashboards and operational reports
- Implement GitHub Advanced Security code scanning secret scanning dependency scanning
- Integrate GitHub with Azure DevOps ServiceNow and monitoring tools
- Maintain environment security settings
- Manage pull request approvals status checks and deployment workflows
- Manage repositories organizations and teams
- Manage security alerts and remediation workflows
- Monitor GitHub audit logs and integrate events with Splunk and Azure Monitor
- Monitor platform reliability workflow performance and operational health
- Onboard and enable development teams on GitHub
- Perform security reviews and vulnerability analysis with Fortify
- Provide documentation and best practices for GitHub usage
- Troubleshoot GitHub workflow access and deployment incidents
