Senior Staff Engineer (Cortex XDR)
Tasks
- Act as technical authority for critical field issues
- Analyze crash dumps and minidumps using WinDbg
- Apply defensive engineering to prevent system wide outages
- Build unit tests using GoogleTest
- Design implement and maintain user mode agent components
- Detect and remediate functional and performance regressions
- Develop and maintain Windows kernel driver components
- Implement native code injection and API hooking
- Lead live debugging for highest severity customer escalations
- Optimize performance using ETW and performance profiling
- Partner with release content pipelines to gate risky changes
- Perform root cause analysis for kernel and user mode failures
- Use CLI and IDE integrations for low level code analysis
- Use fleet scale telemetry to triage and root cause stability issues
