Corporate Counsel and Risk Manager
Tasks
- Administer corporate insurance programs including renewals endorsements and claims
- Analyze incident claims near miss and compliance data
- Conduct enterprise-wide risk assessments
- Conduct risk surveys and communicate findings to leadership
- Coordinate risk transfer and insurance compliance with brokers and carriers
- Develop and maintain corporate risk management and compliance policies
- Develop and monitor risk mitigation strategies and controls
- Establish risk tolerance thresholds and escalation protocols
- Evaluate internal controls and identify compliance gaps
- Integrate safety performance indicators into risk assessments
- Lead enterprise risk management framework development and improvement
- Manage business continuity and disaster recovery planning
- Monitor regulatory compliance and internal governance standards
- Oversee certificates of insurance and subcontractor compliance
- Prepare executive risk reports dashboards and presentations
- Review and assess contractual risk provisions
- Support risk awareness and compliance training initiatives
