Cyber Security Engineer
Tasks
- Enforce security policies and risk exception management
- Ensure audit trail logging for investigations
- Evaluate SOC tools and workflows
- Evaluate configure and deploy security tools
- Maintain SOC documentation policies and procedures
- Mentor junior SOC analysts
- Monitor emerging threats
- Participate in automation to reduce manual workload
- Perform threat hunting and forensic analysis
- Provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 escalation support
- Recommend SOC standardization improvements
- Support cloud security monitoring
- Support incident triage investigation containment and remediation
- Tune SIEM SOAR and XDR rules
