Cloud Engineer II
Tasks
- Apply ITIL incident change and problem management
- Automate AWS account provisioning
- Create, update, and retire AWS accounts
- Develop deploy and manage AWS cloud applications
- Document network changes and maintain policy documentation
- Implement CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments
- Implement cloud governance and security controls
- Implement logging and monitoring with Splunk and New Relic
- Implement policy as code with Sentinel
- Manage IAM strategies and service control policies
- Manage TLS SSL certificate lifecycle
- Perform network analysis and monitoring with CloudTrail and Route 53 Resolver
- Provide technical leadership to engineering teams
- Remediate policy violations using approved patterns
- Troubleshoot Transit Gateway NAT Gateway VPC rules and firewall policies
- Update runbooks and diagrams
- Use Terraform for infrastructure as code
- Validate infrastructure with AWS Config and Sentinel policies
