Tasks
- Coordinate with application and infrastructure owners
- Create documentation for processes and procedures
- Detect and troubleshoot database constraints CPU memory I O and disk space
- Investigate database alerts and escalations
- Perform Oracle performance tuning
- Provide on call production support rotation
- Provide support for operational database services
- Resolve incidents within SLAs
- Review database backups maintenance and monitoring reports daily
- Support 24x7 operations in rotating shifts
- Track and resolve database events issues incidents
- Troubleshoot blocking and deadlocking issues
- Troubleshoot database integrity performance and connectivity issues
- Troubleshoot replication and log shipping issues
