Platform Engineer (AWS)
Tasks
- Automate build test deployment and rollback
- Build and maintain CI CD delivery pipelines
- Build monitoring/alerting and observability systems
- Create and manage Helm charts and Kubernetes manifests
- Design provision and manage AWS services
- Enforce IAM least privilege secrets management and certificate management
- Enforce network policies namespace isolation and resource quotas
- Implement Infrastructure as Code with Terraform and CloudFormation
- Implement centralized logging and audit trails
- Improve developer workflows and deployment automation
- Lead incident response and root cause analysis
- Operate ECS on AWS
- Operate Kubernetes on AWS with EKS
- Own AWS infrastructure for multi tenant SaaS
- Run blameless postmortem reviews
- Support SOC 2 and HIPAA compliance controls
- Troubleshoot infrastructure deployment networking and performance issues
