Tasks
- Administer AWS database environments
- Analyze slow queries and locking
- Collaborate with SRE security and engineering teams
- Improve database reliability availability and recoverability
- Maintain documentation for operations and recovery processes
- Manage MariaDB on AWS RDS replica sets
- Manage replication health and failover readiness
- Participate in production support incident response and RCAs
- Support backups restores and disaster recovery
- Troubleshoot database performance issues in production
- Tune queries and indexes for performance
- Use Bytebase for database access and change workflows
