- Analyze security architectures and develop engineering solutions
- Apply defense in depth in security engineering
- Assess threats and risks across program life cycle
- Collect and maintain system IA reporting data
- Conduct computer incident response and forensic analysis
- Conduct vulnerability scanning and remediation
- Create SOPs and verify user training for SAAR approvals
- Create procedures for user IA awareness
- Develop and maintain security policies and standards
- Develop computer environment IA security program plans
- Ensure confidentiality integrity and availability of government information
- Identify security violations and report incidents
- Integrate IA requirements into COOP
- Integrate IA security requirements into operating procedures
- Maintain retrieve and analyze system IA logs
- Manage firewalls proxy servers web cache and content filtering
- Perform network intrusion detection and prevention
- Perform risk assessment using security risk methodology
- Perform security risk assessment and countermeasure analysis
- Plan and manage defense in depth for network and enclaves
- Provide COMSEC rekeying support and manage crypto keys
- Provide PKI support services
- Provide RMF services
- Provide certification and accreditation guidance and advice
- Request receive install and manage PKI certificates
- Review and approve system security plans
- Support automated information system accreditation
- Support closing IAVMs and ICVMs
- Support host based security services and directory services
- Support system accreditation and certification
