- Conduct security design reviews
- Convert threat outcomes into risk statements
- Define secure design patterns
- Develop Security Reference Architectures
- Develop security policies and guidelines
- Embed with product and platform teams
- Ensure alignment with security frameworks and standards
- Integrate security into CI/CD pipelines
- Lead threat modelling workshops
- Maintain threat model library
- Mentor engineers and architects
- Partner with red team and pen testing teams
- Present mitigations and residual risk levels
- Provide security input to RFPs and vendor selections
- Review high risk system designs
- Support audit and compliance queries
- Support risk acceptance decisions
- Translate threat models into security requirements
