Information Systems Security Manager (ISSM)
Tasks
- Apply cybersecurity policies throughout lifecycle
- Assess security events and apply corrective actions
- Conduct risk and vulnerability assessments
- Conduct security evaluations and audits
- Coordinate cybersecurity projects and taskers
- Ensure security policy implementation during development
- Evaluate threats and vulnerabilities
- Gather and preserve cyber evidence
- Manage security documentation
- Monitor vulnerabilities and provide POA&M
- Perform security impact analysis
- Promote security awareness
- Recommend contingency and recovery plans
- Recommend policies and procedures
- Record system information in databases
- Review cybersecurity modification and support packages
- Review system change sources and documentation
- Review system test plans and results
- Support Assessment and Authorization efforts
- Support external cybersecurity evaluations
