Junior System Administrator
Tasks
- Apply security updates and follow security best practices
- Assist with backups and recovery testing
- Assist with infrastructure upgrades deployments and migrations
- Configure and maintain core IT services
- Maintain and monitor Linux servers
- Maintain routers firewalls and VPNs
- Maintain technical documentation
- Monitor infrastructure using monitoring tools
- Monitor system health and security alerts
- Perform system updates patching and user account management
- Provide technical support to users and internal teams
- Provision and maintain virtual machines
- Respond to alerts and escalate issues
- Support basic automation and scripting
- Support cloud administration
- Troubleshoot network connectivity issues
