Physical Security Architect & Practice Lead
Tasks
- Architect branch surveillance systems
- Conduct performance reviews and training programs
- Coordinate delivery with project management engineering and supply chain
- Coordinate low voltage and facilities installation teams
- Define camera placement coverage and retention standards
- Define grounding and bonding standards
- Develop physical security technology roadmap
- Ensure safety compliance and service procedures
- Evaluate and recommend video management system platforms
- Evaluate physical security platforms and vendors
- Integrate video analytics and access control
- Lead physical security standards and reference architectures
- Lead recruiting hiring and onboarding for technical staff
- Maintain client relationships with corporate security facilities and branch leaders
- Mentor and develop physical security technical team
- Monitor service level agreement adherence
- Participate in site surveys and branch assessments
- Produce technical documentation and system drawings
- Provide executive technical briefings
- Provide layer 1 wiring infrastructure guidance
- Provide operational support and troubleshooting coordination
- Serve as physical security architecture advisor
- Serve as primary escalation point for physical security issues
- Spec and review cable pathways termination and signal integrity
- Support Layer 2 and Layer 3 network needs for IP surveillance
- Troubleshoot signal degradation and cable plant issues
