Tasks
- Define standards reference architectures and best practices
- Design and implement secure scalable highly available cloud and hybrid platforms
- Embed security controls into CI/CD pipelines
- Embed security controls into container platforms and deployment workflows
- Embed security controls into infrastructure as code
- Evaluate select and integrate DevSecOps tooling
- Integrate identity access management secrets management and encryption into pipelines
- Lead implementation of containerized platforms
- Lead technical reviews architecture discussions and root cause analyses
- Maintain and enforce compliance frameworks
- Maintain security vulnerability assessment databases for dependency and OS scans
- Maintain software release pipeline
- Mentor engineers and elevate DevSecOps maturity
- Monitor GitLab security dashboards and remediate vulnerabilities
- Provide trusted technical advisory to engineering and security teams
- Serve as DevSecOps subject matter expert
- Troubleshoot complex system pipeline and security issues
- Update base container images with security patches
