- Conduct threat hunting
- Coordinate cross-functional incident response
- Define incident response processes
- Detect investigate and respond to security incidents
- Develop correlation rules and dashboards
- Develop incident playbooks and runbooks
- Enforce SLAs and escalation
- Enhance detections with ML and UEBA
- Implement and optimize SIEM platforms
- Improve SOC maturity and efficiency
- Integrate log sources and normalize data
- Integrate security tools with SIEM ecosystem
- Investigate high severity incidents
- Lead SOC operations
- Manage and mentor SOC analysts and engineers
- Perform root cause analysis
- Report security posture metrics to leadership
- Use threat intelligence and behavioral analytics
