Tasks
- Brief crew for daily assignments and emergencies
- Coach and mentor crew safe work practices
- Conduct mop up and patrol duties
- Deliver water delivery systems operations
- Ensure crew fitness for duty
- Lead wildfire suppression work safely
- Maintain accurate field documentation and reporting
- Maintain morale and crew cohesion
- Maintain situational awareness and incident objectives
- Manage conflict and resolve crew issues
- Manage fatigue hydration and readiness
- Monitor hazards and adjust work plan
- Oversee firefighting equipment use and maintenance
- Perform base support and training as scheduled
- Perform hand guard construction
- Plan work and assign tasks
- Represent company with clients and public
- Set up pumps and hose systems
- Supervise crew members in fireline and camp
- Use power saws for fireline tasks
