Security Engineer III - Ransomware Governance
Tasks
- Align processes with technical controls
- Analyze test results and update documentation
- Build and refine ransomware incident response plan
- Conduct operational compliance reviews
- Conduct technical assessments and readiness evaluations
- Create security policies and standards review improvements
- Create technical training materials and curriculum
- Design and implement application review onboarding workflow
- Develop decision authority framework
- Develop ransomware risk heat map
- Enhance backup and recovery strategies
- Establish and enforce access controls
- Execute technical validation testing for application recovery
- Gather requirements and validate operational roles
- Improve risk management processes
- Lead technical exercises simulations and tabletop scenarios
- Maintain cyber recovery tracking repository and reporting dashboard
- Map application dependencies for recovery testing
- Operationalize ransomware recovery governance program
- Perform configuration checks and control verification
- Prepare executive level risk findings and progress reporting
