Security Engineer - Offensive Security
Tasks
- Automate testing payload generation and reporting
- Build scalable repeatable offensive platforms and workflows
- Conduct hands-on penetration testing
- Contribute adversary tradecraft insights
- Design and build offensive tooling and automation
- Execute initial access lateral movement persistence and exfiltration scenarios
- Identify security control gaps and improve detection fidelity
- Lead offensive security projects mentor junior engineers and share knowledge
- Lead red team engagements
- Maintain custom offensive tools and scripts
- Partner with detection engineering threat intelligence and incident response teams
- Perform assumed breach assessments
- Perform root cause analysis
- Produce actionable technical reports
- Serve as subject matter expert for offensive security programs
- Simulate adversary TTPs to uncover security risks
- Stay current on threats vulnerabilities and attack techniques
- Support incident investigations with offensive expertise and log analysis
- Translate findings into risk based remediation guidance
- Validate detection and response capabilities
