Tasks
- Architect and maintain backup recovery disaster recovery and automated failover
- Configure SAML based authentication with identity providers and attribute mapping
- Design and deploy SSRS reports
- Design deploy configure scale optimize AWS RDS and Aurora PostgreSQL
- Design troubleshoot and deploy SSIS packages and migration processes
- Develop automation scripts using PowerShell T SQL and SQL Server Agent
- Develop automation to refresh environment configuration settings and application constants
- Ensure high availability performance and low downtime
- Evaluate implement modern database architectures configurations and migration strategies
- Execute backup and restoration between production and non production environments
- Implement multi layer security controls encryption auditing IAM network segmentation
- Manage hybrid environments across on prem and cloud for development testing and production
- Monitor database health performance security and recoverability
- Oversee installation patching upgrades troubleshooting and performance tuning for PostgreSQL and SQL Server
- Plan schedule and execute database refresh with minimal downtime
