Senior Platform Engineer
Tasks
- Administer UAT and development database systems
- Administer production and pre production databases
- Automate database builds patching and maintenance
- Collaborate with engineering teams on testing implementation and support
- Configure, patch, upgrade, and optimize database software
- Design database tier architecture for global systems
- Drive root-cause analysis and remediation
- Follow change management problem management and incident management
- Implement database backup and recovery
- Integrate vendor and open source products
- Monitor database performance and troubleshoot issues
- Plan and coordinate technical and architectural initiatives
- Set up and troubleshoot database replication physical and logical
- Train and mentor team members
- Tune database performance
