Technical Support Engineer
Tasks
- Conduct hardware performance configuration and asset checks
- Escalate system issues and unplanned faults
- Follow change control and compliance procedures
- Investigate troubleshoot and resolve IT faults
- Maintain accurate service centre call logs
- Manage secure controlled IT systems
- Perform database backup verification
- Perform offline patching and update management
- Plan test install and roll out system updates
- Provide remote and on-site support
- Provide technical reference services to field engineers
- Record technical issues in fault tracking system
- Support Microsoft Hyper V infrastructure
- Support access control video surveillance visitor management and intruder systems
