Cloud Security Engineer
Tasks
- Build cloud detection rules and dashboards in Datadog Security
- Contribute to security audits and third party assessments
- Correlate findings across Datadog Security Obsidian Security and AWS tooling
- Create automated response playbooks for cloud and SaaS events
- Design security controls for AWS
- Develop and operationalize Datadog log pipelines and security signals
- Develop infrastructure as code security policies using Terraform
- Embed security into CI/CD pipelines
- Enforce least privilege and segmentation best practices
- Implement and manage AWS security tooling
- Maintain security documentation and runbooks
- Monitor investigate and respond to cloud security alerts
- Perform incident response investigation containment and post incident review
- Remediate findings from vulnerability scans penetration tests and security assessments
- Run threat modeling for cloud and SaaS architectures
- Support SOC 2 compliance by implementing and evidencing technical controls
