- Assess systems for security vulnerabilities before acquisition
- Conduct risk assessments and mitigate risks
- Conduct system and user access analysis
- Document security infrastructure and test cases
- Implement and maintain security policies
- Install and maintain cybersecurity infrastructure
- Install software releases and system upgrades
- Investigate suspicious activities and remediate threats
- Monitor security alerts and escalate
- Participate in on-call support rotation
- Perform change impact analysis and follow change control
- Perform comprehensive testing during implementation and upgrades
- Perform security performance tuning and capacity planning
- Produce periodic reports to management
- Provide customer-focused service
- Provide technical support and vendor coordination
- Review user accounts and access levels
- Support backups and recovery operations
- Train users on cybersecurity processes and systems
