Application Security Engineer
Tasks
- Conduct threat modeling and security architecture reviews
- Design secure authentication authorization session management and cryptographic patterns
- Develop application security training for engineering teams
- Develop secure coding libraries and frameworks
- Harden container Kubernetes and cloud environments
- Implement runtime protections including WAF and RASP
- Lead Red Team and Purple Team exercises
- Maintain technical security documentation
- Manage vulnerability triage prioritization and SLA tracking
- Operate and tune SAST DAST IAST SCA and secret scanning tools
- Perform manual code reviews
- Respond to security incidents
- Track emerging threats and CVEs
