- Adhere to SCIF security protocols and procedures
- Administer Windows Server in physical and virtual environments
- Apply STIG patches updates and security fixes
- Configure DNS DHCP file services print services and IIS
- Configure and manage Windows Server clustering and high availability
- Coordinate implementation of permanent solutions
- Coordinate virtualization specialists for VM deployment and management
- Create and manage Group Policy Objects
- Develop migration plans for Windows Server services
- Engineer PKI and HBSS Windows Server solutions
- Engineer design install configure optimize Windows Server
- Ensure DISA STIG and DoD compliance
- Establish and meet project milestones
- Follow change management and engineering review processes
- Implement and manage WSUS for patch management
- Maintain SOP and system architecture documentation
- Maintain high availability and service dependability
- Maintain system documentation troubleshooting procedures and runbooks
- Manage Active Directory Domain Services user accounts and group policies
- Manage storage allocation and disk management
- Meet service level metrics and performance standards
- Monitor performance capacity and availability
- Perform Windows Server backups and restorations
- Perform root cause analysis on outages and incidents
- Propose configurations optimizations and improvement plans
- Provide Windows Server system engineering support
- Provide technical support to users and help desk staff
- Support requirement analysis for technical solution options
- Troubleshoot boot, service, and performance issues
- Use remote administration tools for troubleshooting
