Tasks
- Build cost allocation tagging for accurate attribution
- Create cost optimization dashboards and reports
- Create technical documentation for cost efficient patterns
- Develop cost data collection and processing pipelines
- Develop cost optimization automation scripts
- Implement and test cost optimization recommendations
- Implement cost guardrails and automated policies
- Implement cost monitoring and alerting
- Improve cost data quality
- Integrate cloud billing APIs with internal systems
- Monitor and maintain cost management tools
- Participate in on call rotation for cost systems
- Perform code reviews and technical design discussions
- Support FinOps best practices learning
- Support FinOps tooling development
- Troubleshoot cost related technical issues
