Tasks
- Analyze endpoint identity network and cloud telemetry
- Correlate logs across EDR XDR SIEM and cloud control plane
- Create or update response playbooks and hardening tasks
- Develop detection queries in SIEM and EDR
- Document hunt hypotheses datasets findings and evidence
- Execute hypothesis based threat hunts
- Map hunts to MITRE ATT&CK techniques
- Partner with SOAR automation engineers to operationalize workflows
- Perform purple team adversary simulations
- Support incident response with surge investigations
- Translate hunt findings into detection logic and tuning
- Validate suspicious patterns with deeper artifact review
