Tasks
- Act as technical lead for strategic infrastructure projects and major incidents
- Define cloud and Wintel roadmaps with architecture
- Design implement manage Azure IaaS PaaS workloads
- Ensure compliance with security regulatory data protection and audit requirements
- Ensure high availability and best practice configuration
- Implement OS hardening patching compliance security posture improvements
- Implement security baselines and RBAC JIT JEA and secure RDP patterns
- Integrate Sentinel for detection and response
- Lead upgrades migrations and lifecycle management
- Maintain documentation runbooks and operational knowledge articles
- Manage Active Directory DNS DHCP and Group Policy services
- Manage certificates PKI TLS hardening and secrets with Key Vault
- Mentor engineers and contribute to skills development
- Modernise legacy Windows services to cloud native or hybrid cloud
- Optimize Azure resources for cost performance scalability
- Own Windows Server engineering lifecycle
- Perform troubleshooting and root cause analysis
- Serve as subject matter expert for Azure and Wintel capabilities
- Support internal and external audits
