Tasks
- Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver data solutions
- Define KPIs for data engineering team
- Design data warehouses and data lakes on Azure
- Develop ETL/ELT pipelines in Azure
- Develop and implement master data management layer
- Ensure data warehouse availability and resiliency
- Identify pipeline bottlenecks and performance issues
- Implement data quality rules and processes
- Integrate data from multiple SaaS systems
- Manage disaster recovery and risk mitigation
- Monitor and optimize Data Platform performance
- Optimize data storage and compute for cost efficiency
- Perform team resource management and key person dependency mitigation
- Study new technologies and propose solutions
