Data Security Engineer
Tasks
- Advise teams on secure handling of sensitive data
- Assess and reduce data exposure risks
- Automate policy enforcement alert triage and reporting
- Build DLP incident workflows
- Configure DLP tools
- Define DLP metrics dashboards and reporting
- Design data protection architectures
- Develop DLP policies
- Establish data inventory and data flow visibility
- Identify classify and map sensitive data
- Implement DSPM solutions
- Integrate DLP and DSPM with SIEM SOAR
- Integrate DSPM insights into DLP controls
- Investigate data security incidents
- Maintain data protection policies standards and procedures
- Mature DLP program
- Provide audit support and documentation
- Provide data protection training and awareness
- Serve as data security subject matter expert
- Support PCI-DSS SOC 2 GDPR compliance initiatives
- Troubleshoot data security tool performance reliability and coverage
