Software Engineer, Systems
Tasks
- Architect and implement large scale systems software components
- Build observability infrastructure and dashboards
- Collaborate cross functionally on systems architecture
- Communicate technical decisions and architectural trade offs
- Coordinate multi team systems initiatives and phased rollouts
- Define and enforce service level objectives
- Establish coding standards testing strategies and rollout practices
- Evaluate trade offs for performance reliability scalability maintainability
- Identify and resolve systems level performance bottlenecks
- Implement alerting and incident response improvements
- Lead technical design of systems initiatives
- Manage migrations and technical risk mitigation
- Mentor engineers on systems design and debugging
- Perform automated resiliency testing
- Perform overload testing
- Use AI assisted development workflows for systems design and code generation
- Use profiling instrumentation and debugging tools
