Security Engineer (FedRAMP)
Tasks
- Assist stakeholders with IT security activities
- Conduct cloud service provider authorization package reviews for compliance
- Conduct security reviews for authorization boundary technologies
- Develop FedRAMP architecture briefing documents
- Ensure contractor owned systems comply with agency security and privacy requirements
- Ensure systems operate maintain and dispose per security policies and procedures
- Interpret FedRAMP and agency requirements and provide vendor guidance
- Lead architecture interviews with cloud service providers
- Perform architecture and technical design reviews for vendor solutions
- Prepare package briefings for FedRAMP government leads and agency CISOs
- Research IT security architectures and provide security recommendations
- Review and comment on FedRAMP documentation packages
- Review post 3PAO assessment reports and package submissions
- Stay current on FedRAMP guidance and cybersecurity directives
- Support continuous monitoring activities
