Tasks
- Align security operations processes to NIST CSF and ISO IEC 27001
- Conduct threat hunting and identify trends anomalies and emerging threats
- Coordinate vulnerability remediation tracking outcomes
- Ensure SLA compliance and maintain service quality
- Implement automation first security operations approach
- Improve SOC maturity roadmap
- Lead coach and develop SOC staff
- Lead incident response and escalation
- Maintain documentation and knowledge transfers and rotate tasks
- Manage shift coverage on call rotations and workload balancing
- Measure security program metrics and efficiency
- Monitor and analyze security alerts and data
- Operate SOC function day to day
- Support audits and control testing and maintain evidence repositories
- Support security assessments for desktops servers networks and firewalls
- Tune security systems and automate repetitive analyst tasks
