Tasks
- Apply encryption and DLP controls
- Collaborate with SOC and IAM and infrastructure teams
- Deploy security appliances and endpoint agents
- Ensure compliance with security policies and audit requirements
- Escalate high impact security incidents
- Execute security patching
- Follow secure file transfer procedures
- Implement and monitor DDoS protection
- Implement and monitor endpoint security policies
- Implement and monitor web filtering
- Improve security operations automation opportunities
- Lead L2 network security analysts
- Maintain endpoint inventory
- Maintain policy change documentation
- Maintain security device documentation
- Maintain security incident documentation
- Manage Akamai CDN
- Manage vulnerability remediation schedules
- Monitor security tools
- Operate secure remote access including VPN
- Organize on call rota
- Perform SSL inspection and threat protection rule tuning
- Perform device health checks
- Perform security incident triage and troubleshooting
- Provide L3 endpoint security incident support
- Provide L3 network security incident support
- Troubleshoot authentication access malware and threats
- Update security platform configurations
