Principal Solutions Engineer
Tasks
- Build trusted relationships with customer security teams
- Collaborate with channel partners on joint security initiatives
- Conduct technical discovery to identify security requirements
- Contribute to competitive analysis and positioning materials
- Create technical content for blogs white papers and webinars
- Design and present customized security architectures
- Facilitate security workshops and whiteboarding
- Lead technical demonstrations and proof of concept
- Partner with account executives on territory and account strategy
- Present at customer security forums and industry events
- Provide customer feedback to product and engineering
- Provide technical guidance during sales and implementation planning
- Qualify technical opportunities and provide sales forecasting input
- Respond to RFPs with security content
- Serve as security subject matter expert during sales cycle
- Stay current on cloud security threats and regulatory requirements
- Support competitive differentiation for security capabilities
- Support deal negotiations with technical expertise
- Support marketing with technical content and thought leadership
