Tasks
- Administer Azure Active Directory users groups and conditional access
- Administer Azure web application firewall
- Apply ITIL practices for process standardization
- Conduct security audits
- Coordinate penetration testing and vulnerability assessments
- Define and own multi year IT security roadmap
- Design implement configure and manage AVD environments
- Develop schedule test and communicate business continuity and disaster recovery plan
- Enforce automated patching under SLAs
- Establish service level agreements and monitor KPIs
- Execute security policies for vulnerability management and identity access management
- Harden Azure images to improve security posture
- Implement CIS controls and benchmarks
- Implement HIPAA compliance controls
- Implement ISO 27000 series controls and benchmarks
- Implement NIST Cyber Security Framework
- Implement PCI compliance controls
- Implement and manage Azure storage backup and disaster recovery
- Implement conditional access strategy
- Implement continuous improvement for vulnerability management threat modeling risk assessment and threat intelligence
- Implement defense in depth security architecture
- Integrate security into operational processes
- Lead disaster recovery annual testing
- Lead incident response activities
- Maintain Azure networking infrastructure
- Maintain IT security for cloud identity access management and end user compute
- Maintain network services infrastructure with emphasis on security and stability
- Manage Azure Functions
- Manage IT end user compute and infrastructure operations
- Manage deploy and maintain Azure Windows Server virtual machines
- Manage information security and privacy governance
- Manage security compliance and configuration policies with Intune GPO and AutoMox
- Monitor and optimize AVD performance scalability and cost
- Monitor network activity for intrusion or compromise
- Optimize Azure spend and manage cloud CMDB
- Oversee infrastructure selection development deployment monitoring maintenance enhancement
- Plan and implement security standards procedures and legal compliance
- Provide cloud engineering leadership
- Provide technical support for firewalls operating systems applications and patch management
- Supervise and train team members on security best practices
- Use Azure Defender for Cloud to remediate vulnerabilities
