Tasks
- Administer VMware vCenter and ESXi platforms
- Assist with vulnerability assessment and remediation
- Collaborate with teams, vendors, and stakeholders
- Comply with policies standards and licensing requirements
- Ensure system availability performance and capacity planning
- Execute ITIL incident problem and change management processes
- Implement Zero Trust security best practices
- Maintain network components and perform repairs
- Maintain server hardware storage and SAN
- Manage identity services including Active Directory DNS DHCP and Group Policy
- Manage server workloads in AWS and Azure
- Monitor systems and assist with performance tuning
- Participate in DevOps and Git based workflows
- Participate in disaster recovery testing
- Perform basic automation with PowerShell Python and Bash
- Provide help desk support and escalate issues
- Support application deployment installation and configuration
- Support backup and disaster recovery processes
- Support configuration management and automation tools
- Support deployment configuration and maintenance of Windows and Linux systems
- Support network infrastructure including VPNs VLANs routing and load balancing
- Troubleshoot system and performance issues
- Use Infrastructure as Code with Terraform ARM Bicep or CloudFormation
- Use log monitoring for troubleshooting and alerting
