Tasks
- Align testing activities with OWASP Top 10 and SANS Top 25
- Analyze logs alerts and security events from SIEM and EDR tools
- Conduct manual and automated security testing
- Coordinate with SOC IT and stakeholders during incident handling
- Identify validate and exploit vulnerabilities and misconfigurations
- Improve incident response playbooks and processes
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security incidents
- Perform incident triage containment eradication and recovery
- Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Prepare vulnerability assessment reports with risk ratings impact analysis and remediation guidance
- Re test vulnerabilities to validate fixes
- Support root cause analysis and post incident reporting
