Tasks
- Advise on processing and storage purchases
- Assign and prioritize IT tasks and projects
- Cover 24 7 operations shift work
- Design IT infrastructure architecture
- Design IT operations environments
- Develop client server system strategy
- Estimate space hardware software and connection resources
- Identify and resolve system performance issues
- Lead mentor technicians and administrators
- Measure system usage and workload trends
- Model computer and application environment
- Monitor infrastructure warranty status
- Perform after hours maintenance support
- Plan team quality and efficiency improvements
- Provide 2nd tier and 3rd tier support
- Provide end-user support
- Provide on-call emergency support
- Research new technology
- Resolve hardware and software incidents
