Incident Response Analyst II
Tasks
- Acknowledge and classify alarms
- Assess incident severity and impact
- Assist KPI and SLA reporting
- Conduct incident post reviews and lessons learned
- Coordinate emergency response activities
- Coordinate incident bridges and communications
- Document event timelines and response actions
- Ensure compliance with SOPs MOPs EOPs runbooks and playbooks
- Escalate incidents using escalation procedures
- Investigate alarms and abnormal conditions
- Maintain incident records and update ticketing systems
- Monitor CCTV and review camera footage
- Monitor CRAH and CRAC units
- Monitor UPS battery generator and ATS systems
- Monitor building management systems
- Monitor chilled water systems
- Monitor cooling and HVAC systems
- Monitor data center infrastructure management
- Monitor electrical power monitoring systems
- Monitor environmental sensors
- Monitor fire detection and suppression systems
- Monitor leak detection systems
- Monitor power distribution units
- Participate in emergency drills and business continuity exercises
- Perform preliminary root cause analysis
- Produce incident reports and shift summaries
- Support trend analysis and recurring issue identification
