IT Infrastructure Administrator
Tasks
- Administer cloud infrastructure compute storage networking and IAM
- Administer network infrastructure LAN WAN firewalls VPN DNS DHCP and switching and routing
- Administer server infrastructure provisioning patching performance tuning and decommissioning
- Administer virtualization platforms VMware and Hyper V
- Design deploy and operate IT infrastructure
- Enforce infrastructure security controls patch management vulnerability remediation and access hardening
- Ensure infrastructure availability performance and security
- Ensure infrastructure compliance with security policies
- Implement backup and disaster recovery solutions
- Maintain infrastructure documentation network diagrams runbooks baselines and change records
- Manage backup and disaster recovery and conduct DR tests
- Manage infrastructure lifecycle capacity planning procurement deployment maintenance and decommissioning
- Manage storage solutions data integrity and retention compliance
- Monitor infrastructure health and resolve infrastructure incidents
- Support IT security audits and provide infrastructure evidence
